One of the most famous events of internal trial in Madinah.
It shows that revelation refutes falsehood and exposes doubts.
It showed the danger of the hypocrites in striking society from within.
It exposed the effect of rumors in society and the need to verify.
It teaches patience, thinking well of others, and verifying reports.
It laid the foundations of an ethical and media awareness in dealing with news.
It showed that propaganda warfare can be more dangerous than military confrontation.
The one falsely accused, whose innocence Allah revealed
He brought Aisha back to the army after finding her
Led the spreading of the slander and stirred it up
Advised the Prophet ﷺ during the consultation
Advised the Prophet ﷺ to keep her with him
Expressed his desire to kill Ibn Ubayy
His tribal zeal was stirred when Ibn Ubayy was mentioned

The need to manage media crises with honesty and verification.
Protecting society from fitnah and rumors.
Guarding the tongue and not passing on what has not been verified.
It should be limited to the general lesson, without uncontrolled analogies.
In the prophetic context, revelation came as the decisive word; today the measure is verification and returning to reliable evidence.
Any report that affects honor or the community must not be published until it is verified.
