The one addressed, to whom the delegation came
The delegation of an-Nakha was a Yemeni delegation from the tribes of Madhhij. It came to the Prophet ﷺ in the middle of Muharram in 11 AH, and they numbered about two hundred men. They are counted among the last delegations to come to him ﷺ from Yemen. They came to him affirming Islam after they had pledged to Mu'adh ibn Jabal, so their arrival was evidence of the success of the Prophet's educational missions in Yemen and of the completion of the entry of large tribes into Islam in the later years of the Prophet ﷺ.
The delegation of an-Nakha pledged to him before coming to the Prophet ﷺ, so his mention in the event was evidence of the impact of the Prophet's educational missions in Yemen.
