One of the expeditions of Year 6 after the Hijrah, after al-Ahzab and Hudaybiyyah, in the context of establishing security and deterring aggressors.
In Shawwal also of this year, there was the Expedition of Kurz ibn Jabir al-Fihri against the Uraniyyin, so they were brought to him, and the Messenger of Allah ﷺ had them killed.
A group from Ukl and Uraynah showed Islam, but they did not remain firm in it. When they recovered after being told to drink the milk and urine of the camels, they killed the shepherd and took the camels. The Prophet ﷺ sent Kurz ibn Jabir al-Fihri after them with a group of the Companions, and they were seized and punished for what they had done.
It is reported that they were a group from Ukl and Uraynah who showed Islam and stayed in Madinah, but they found it unpleasant. So they were sent out with the camels to the pastures and told to drink from their milk and urine.
Their breaking of the pledge, their outward display of Islam, and then their aggression against the Muslims and their wealth.
The fate of the attackers was decided and their immediate threat ended, and it became clear that attacking the Muslims does not go unpunished.
